When a player has been punished, either muted or banned, they may appeal their punishment.
Mutes
If a person has been muted and the evidence is valid, the person will stay muted. If they are being remorseful from the beginning and it’s their first mute, you may unban this person.
In the case where the proof isn’t valid, simply unmute the person, and apologise for the inconvenience.
Bans
There are two types of bans. Anticheat bans and staff bans.
Anticheat
In the case of an Anticheat punishment, lookup their logs by typing in the player his username in the Discord search bar, and take a look at their alerts. Based on the alerts send, and the AntiCheat guides Grim and TotemGuard, you make a decision whether a ban is valid or not. Keep in mind some checks my false, while others never.
If you are unsure, don’t hesitate to ask the opinion of other staff member. If that still doesn’t draw a conclusion, please notify a System-Administrator, so he can take a closer look at the situation.
Staff
When a player has been banned by a staff member simply lookup his username in 🧵・punishment-evidence, to validate the evidence posted.
